Rheumatoid arthritis as one of the major autoimmune disorders manifests with various degrees of joint destruction. The cause of autoimmune disorders remains elusive and various aspects such as genetic factors, environmental factors and possibly infections have been considered to contribute to the immunopathogenesis of these diseases. In this presentation, we will focus on identifying the possible factors that may be closely related to the development of rheumatoid arthritis.
