Ventricular septal defect (VSD) is the most common form of congenital heart disease? Surgical repair has achieved tremendous progress over the last 50 years At the beginning of 21 century, case number of transcatheter closure of PmVSD were increasing, but some patients suffered from post-procedure or late-onset atrioventricular block. More recently, the concept that viewing the PmVSD with similar morphology of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) attracted the attentions of cardiac interventionists. In this talk, I will present the midterm follow-up results of transcatheter closure of VSDs by using Amplatzer duct occluders in a tertiary medical center.
